guess i am the most deprived spec in the SAF... everybody has bday offs and all that stuff sway sway my bday on engineer week then wanna ask for 1/2 day also no have.. pui chao nua... maybe next few days go get a few days off to compensate it..

hai.. now finish ops bacinet liao.. going back to 35 SCE liao... hai... xianz... that place is full of !@#!$# and backstabbers esp those regulars in other companies.. and well back to those 5am reville days for DS and COS days liao...

to say the truth actually enjoyed being in the army initially.. learn quite a lot of skills... now i think pple will ask 'wat skills??' haha that is what all my men asked me loh and i dunn how to explain to them... well its hard to explain la.. but i think this you have to experience it yourself then you'll know la...surprisingly. even secondary school kids ask me that question asking me 'is army nice or not?' haha.. i just tell them depends on individual loh... if they think it as xian it is really damn xian and shiong loh.. if they think it as a learning experience and getting to know people of different background, it will be a lot better la ... and maybe its the learning experience that makes me dying to be an officer... haha i failed to go OCS loh but ended up in SISPEC which i think i good enough le.. haha..

To all pple going to army(which i doubt so all my frens ORD liao...lol but heck i will just write it in here heh), dun see things on the surface as it is... shit given to you is forever a shit on the surface.. look on the other side of the picture and see wat can you learn from it... and i strongly encourage pple to go sispec or ocs also hehe... dun put 2 1/2 years to waste doing nothing and not using brain... go mo lian mo lian ba hahaha

hmm just got offers from UNSW and got the uni of sydney offer a few weeks ago... hai its decision time now... dun feel like going overseas so soon leh.. if i accept sydney i will go next year feb leh that is before ord... and if take unsw should be going over in july.. xian.. now hopefully NTU will take me.. hai.. if not think i will work for a year ba then go to nsw... hai.. dunno wat to say to my family xia... parents should be easy la sis part a bit hard she sure make hell lot of a noise one...

dunno why also la suddenly feel like staying singapore loh..

Think my morale gonna hit a new low le... in fact is extremely pissed...

1st-our good friday got burnt cos of the ops duty.. and the officers say there is no off to compensate for the time burnt..

2nd-after ops bacinet there will be a 10-week training for an ex in july... meaning from wat we can see is that no rest loh... many many constructions with deployment ARRGGHHHH!!!!

After a month of alternate days of working shifts and somemore booking out in the afternoon (2+pm) and booking in at noon... wat we expected to have at least a few days off for us to do our own things outside and catch up on wat we have missed out during the month... duh.. this tells you about the officers in my coy... i rest my case here liao...

met up with huifang few days ago... hmm she was an icq fren haha.... and coincidentally she is also my primary school classmate's good fren in her sec school... wah lan small world... only see her 1 time before nia lol which was 1999... well she's a funny person xia really had a good luff when talking to her... she said gonna intro her fren to me leh... lol hai... wonder wat's up her sleeve xia... shall see ba... lol shall stop here and go back to my duty le ciao

Have been thinking a lot of things lately ah... and suddenly one thing struck my mind le... almost everything in singapore is competition orientated and first thing that comes to singaporeans' mind is grades.

i think now playing music is commercialise in singapore liao.. pple trying to outdo one another and set standards that are higher each time a competition is held... in order to keep up to these standards set by the good bands, the secondary school kids have to practise real hard and sometimes even report back to school during sundays to train for hte competition.. really sad i think it is a stressful for them loh.. these days the studies is already very stressful and hectic.. then the competition is another thing for them to stress about... maybe that explains why these days the secondary school kids are less committed to wat they are doing le.. unlike older days we really enjoyed going to band and really had fun together even tho the scoldings and the punishments are still there... we also had our sundays burnt but its for public performance where we really trained ourselves to be more confident of ourselves and enjoy playing pieces that are not as tough as the competition ones... (more enjoyable ones like 'rock n roll hall of fame' haha real classic...)

hmm.. think pple at the teens should really enjoy wat they are doing... now school is like work liao... pple trying to outdo one another and backstabbing around and arrow flying all around le... there is a saying 'when there's a challenge, there's improvement' think this time its a bit overboard le.. think i shall stop here... if you guys visiting this and wants to share your views just drop it in the tag board hehe.. just want to see others' views about this loh.

nothing much happened these few days only for the routine duties every alternate days ba very tiring ah... but slowly getting used to it le la.. heh.. happen to have 2 books of baby blues wif me hehe was reading during the duty ah... haha my sis and i both agree that zoe, the toddler of the MacPherson's, reminds us of ah tong (my niece) haha.. really cute and funny dunno whether to be angry or laugh at the mistakes...

Went to look for chew today hehe... i know i a bit bo liao la but then again... he is one of the teachers i respect loh.. really teaches me a lot of stuff man other than music... very seldom you get teachers like him even though his way of teaching is very different and many pple dun like it la.. honestly i used to hate it also la but after sometime think about it he telling you wat to do in another way (the way he tells you and scold you makes you really want to work hard loh dunno why hmm damn fierce)... and he makes it a point we as his students bring home wat he taught us... and those who chose not to listen and learn.. then too bad loh..they are at lost loh.. as wat Ms Chee told me when i was a sec 3 QM 'scolding is always good, in a way he tells us wat to do, so dun get upset about it just do' or was it Ms Ng?? hmmm interesting haha....

hmm did something geh zua la haha can call that kaypo also... dunno why also maybe just wanted to share some of my experiences wif the sembawang sec kids ba.. after the trumpet players were scolded for playing too softly during full band.. during their sectionals i talked to the few of them telling them how i used to train my juniors when i was in sec school haha... and tell them what i used to tell my juniors... telling them to be more confident loh.. haha

Hai... still looking for a band xia.... dreamt of the old tanglin guys are back in the same band haha... well cannot always live in the past la must look into the future and work in the present... regret nv really go and join a good band during my poly days tho

hmm its been interesting today.. rushed from sembawang to my house then to esplanade to catch SP concert in just 2 hrs... duh... somemore in the heavy rain.. actually din wan to go liao but dunno why still go.. perhaps curious about the esplanade ba...

the place is awesome.. its almost like Symphony Hall in Birmingham. the acoustics is good and the structure is classy.... well the performance itself was ok nia... but when the alumni played the Big Fun In The Sun.. wohhoo reminded me of the times when i was in secondary band man... haha triggered some memories.. how i was trained then how i used to tegan my guys back then.. met up if huifeng, za, xiuqing, and 2 other juniors by accident after hte concert.. its been a long time and we ended up having dinner at Fish and Co. and chit chat loh

heard quite a lot abt tanglin band now.. hai.. very disappointed to hear that the current members all taking things for granted le and the enthusiasm for band no longer there le... suddenly feel damn fortunate to be in a band at its peak hah... but its still in the memories only wang shi zhi neng hui wei... hopefully the alumni band's prac that is coming bring back some of the feelings ba... *hopefully*

P.s hope to see the current juniors also... esp the trb players..

a little pissed off by how pple work in the army le... sibeh wayang ah... today my fren kena extra starting for tml which means he'll have to do 3 days of duty... sai... wah lau officers there really brainless leh... they so great ask them try do la as if like very shiok like that... very tiring... everyday work in shifts then only for few hrs of sleep nia... and we book out also so short nia.. they themselves rotate 2 days then we only 1 day ' hello not enough rest one leh'... they also work but in the comfort of an office with air con . Specs and Men?? well we stand under sun and sit in tentage hot like suana leh.... well.. say so much also no use la... hai just here to vent it all out ba...

well that day smsed '2nd lau po' heh... she also super stressed now le.. haha aiya wat to do? yr 3 liao le got lotsa new things for her to learn and find out... Some not even taught in the school hmm outstanding eh??

wah kind of missed those days in year 3 man... though was cursing and swearing during those days due to the high amount of pressure and stress caused by deadlines and tests wohoo shiok.. but learnt a lot about engineering and research and learn to source for materials... Engineering is a lot about creativity and ideas.. but think i dun fit in leh.. cos everytime bo idea one haha... my brain always dead one all the way..

wah my concert on sunday still don't know can go or not xia... lan.. 1700hrs very early leh.. hope PC wun eat my time xia... super rush xia.. dying to see how esplanade looks like xia.. missed one chance due to this stupid ops bacinet... dun feel like missing it agian.. and mei de also dunno want to go or not hai... see how la sui yuan le... k la should stop here le...

well about to go off for duty but feel like posting something up here... something which somebody told me when i was in england:
