talking about free from 'saikang' yesterday, i just got an arrow from my mum to help her clean the ceiling of our porch. Sigh i have never liked this new house of mine anyway. It's very troublesome to maintain and establish my mum is sp fussy.. grr the ceiling's been cleaned and there are some stains that cannot be scrubbed off but she said it can be done.. sigh.. anyway it cannot been cleaned after countless effort.

Anyway, guess who i saw on the eve of Christmas?? haha.. MELISSA!! This time is really a very small world indeed. She's an italian, i met her when i was in Birmingham for attachment and she was doing her PhD then. She is one of the people in the house i have been talking about for ages.. she's here to work till 2006 and she was going to the zoo that day. that explains why i saw her on way home on bus 927 hmm. Initially, I could not believe my eyes cause I wouldn't expect to see her so near my house(anyway i know she's been here since May cos jervis told me about it earlier on). well, that's really a pleasant surprise and considering i met Zhang Dou (another person i knew at attachment) the prev night, i think this week is full of surprises. So well keep the surprises coming man lol..

This entry is long long overdue... let us go back to the 22nd of december.. and yes i left my NS ife on that day YAHOOO!!!! 'No more SOC! No more IPPT! No more Sgt Tegan me Du Da Du Da Deh'.. ey? wait a min.. I'm a 3SG, why on earth ma i singing this?.. anyway just to clarify somethings abt sergeants. Sergeants in my company don't tegan our guys but we 'task' them to do work lol. In our term, its called Arrow. And the things we do is called saikang (shit job). So now i must announce is that NO MORE SAIKANG from my officers loh!!! WAHAHHAAHAHA!! but one thing to be sad about is that no more boat and dinghy for me to drive sigh.. so much fun while driving the boat...

That's all for the 22nd of December 2004, on christmas eve, i was 'arrowed' (see i am a constant target board lol *just kidding*) again. This time to host a BBQ with some of my friends la hahah.. actually its not arrowed la.. i like my house to be pple and so that can have a feeling of Christmas together haha.. so my friends came to my place to have a BBQ.. and eventually i ended playing mahjong with some of them wahhaa.. well at least won a few games (beginners' luck heh cos i don't really know how to play mahjong lol).. hmm and i found out that one of them is a TV fanatic!! wow haha next time can share VCD rental with her le wahhaha.. besides sharing with Ah Hui lol... not bad.. All these guys addicted to these HK serials liao wahahah..

hmm.. today, 27th Dec 2004, i just came back from Ngee Ann's band concert at VCH.. hmm.. the oncert is pretty fun hehe esp the 13 days of christmas heh.. well the band has improved. I played in the Alumni band for this concert and i must say, it's rather good considering the amount of time we put in for practice. However, music is always a side issue to me ya? what matters most is the friendship within the band.. Most of the people in the alumni are over 30 years old xia.. haha and some of them even have their own kids wahahah.. and leaving school for sooooo many donkey years, they still come back to the band to play and for the gathering with those old pals. (ya, maybe that's what alumni band is for, gathering). Well, and after so many years the bond between the pple are still very strong and i really enjoyed the company despite the age gap heheh.. Sigh how i wished Tanglin alumni band can be formed with pple from any batch ya? that wong and tan is really getting on my nerves grr.. if there is a need for help i will definitely help, BUT those 2 teachers just don't want pple not taught by them to step into the band see? so no point talking about forming that alumni band again.. Now! I will be a Ngee Ann alumni regular.. and i am taking back on my words to make Rondeau XIX to be my final concert haha.. Well enough said let's see the Ngee Ann Alumni band again Next year ciao

*sigh* went for the basic theory test this afternoon. I think i am going to fail that test.. ok that aside. Firstly, my test was at 1530 and guess what time i got my ass out of my house?? Freaking 1515 hrs... well i shall not go into details on why i was late.. however, miraculously, i got into a cab right after i stepped out of my estate and the cabbie took only 5 mins to get to BBDC... how?? I don't know i think you'd better ask that cabbie hehehe.. Well the paper is rather easy but i didn't really study for it so it makes it very hard for me.. A couple of common sense questions don't really know how to ans. but then again, wat the heck, just sit and wait for results now.. leave the worrying to later part.

Anyway, just discovered that i am old and rusty when it comes to classical music. *sigh* was helping a friend doing up her project about Tchaikovsky's Symphony no. 6, well, i felt so useless while trying to help her haha.. i even forgot how to convert a minor key to its relative major.. hai... well the good old days are over now, haha used to listen and and study classical music like a devoted follower to his religious books lol... now after 3 yrs of not touching anything abt it.. my mind went blank when it comes to Tchaikovsky's No.6. It really beat me flat. but though it has flattened me as if an elephant had just sat on me. well it has not totally killed my passion for the art, hehe in fact i am beginning to listen to more classical music in fact music from all sorts of genre would be good. (for exposure actually hehe) I am kind of versatile when it comes to music, i can take ancient classicals to Rock. well, mel is right when he told me this 'It is always good to widen your scope of your interest'. There really is some sense here.. and oh ya if anybody wants to try classical music, feel free to ask me for recommendations..

that's all for today

Yoohoo, I'm back.. After a month's absence. Well, I've been bumming around waiting for the day i get my IC which the SAF took from me a few years back.. Sigh it's a long wait i must say, considering i started clearing my off and leaves towards the end of September. Sometimes really missed those days when we were going outfield for exercises. *sigh* Well, that aside, will elaborate more on my army life on my ORD date hehee...

During these slacking days, i've been watching a few Cantonese series from Hong Kong. I have one to recommend - Hidden Treasures (funny. Very Funny indeed) hehe. and now SCV is also airing the much anticipated Triumph in the Skies. its a very very nice show trust me and that's the show that makes me hooked on cantonese series hehe and they went all the way to ROMA and Florence to film it.. its a MUST WATCH..

hmm today had a little gathering with my poly classmates, why now? because my bud, Jason, just came back from Australia and it's sort of a 'welcome back' treat hehe. Had loads of fun even though it's just eating and talking crap. hehe. well and we have already started to plan how to celebrate david, mine and michelle's bday le hahah.. most prb they'll come my house again hehehe.. easy for me hehe.. just need to pack hhah.. and speaking about bday *sigh* its gonna be just another day le hahah.. sway sway it falls on the 1st day of CNY sigh... i always gotta to do something on my bday one.. maybe that's my life le.. 2 years ago, i was in SISPEC doing my guard duty, this yr my bday falls on Engineer Week and my PC won't let me go on off cause i have to help out in that. but this yr i am very happy to celebrate my bday the day before hehe.. guess a few of ya knows why though.. hope it would be like that again lol

ok well then, i have to run now will have more to blog in future though heheh..and ya i am still looking for a job... anybody out there have lobang??
