I don't know why but it doesn't seem right to me.

What I mean is the mentality of some of the people I meet here in the university. They just enjoy comparing results with one another and they ended up frustrating themselves just because people do better than them. Maybe the problem lies in the system, maybe it's just individuals. I've got to admit that when I was much younger in my poly days, I tend to compare results with my friends. As time goes by I began to understand different people have their strengths and weakness and their IQ totally different. Take for example, one of my classmates in poly, she's really talented with numbers and even the lecturers sang praises for her. She just seem to understand how problems work.*Idol* To think that when I was in yr 1 I used to fight a lot with her lol. How come when I hit her, She didn't pass any of her intelligence to me? hahhaha

Sometimes I really do wonder. Do we attend school to learn or to compare results with your peers?

Another incident occured last week as well, a few uni friends gathered during our lect break and chat. We ended up talking about results during our poly days. Most of them did very well in their poly and came into NTU. When I told them that my results were like Bs and Cs with no distinctions, they went, 'how did you get into this school? I have got friend who did better than you tried to apply and got rejected. What did you do?'

I took it very easy at the point and told them jokingly that their friend's got 'giam cai mia' and I might be the last in line to be cut off. *shit* Or maybe they're just plain curious. Well, HOW THE FUCK I KNOW? I JUST GOT THE LETTER SAYING I AM IN!!

On a lighter note, I received a wedding invitation from a friend I knew a few yrs back during my attachment in England. She's getting married in Calcutta, India. It's a shame I am not able to attend the wedding which is on the 18th of Dec. *sigh* Dying to attend the wedding but I have got no money for the air ticket and I will be busy with the next yr's FOC camp. *Sigh* just hope that they'll drop by Singapore for their honeymoon. Anyway, the invitation is damn nice can? haha I have to say it because when i opened it, I felt like Charlie holding the golden ticket to visit Wonka's Chocolate factory. Hahaha. I know I know I am not as cute as Charlie but then it's the feeling so stop booing!!

Semestral Exam is round the corner, sigh am studying for it now.. spent the whole afternoon studying something that is really tough for me now. True at firs it was mechanics of materials but now there is something that much more understanding. This module needs a lot of thinking and at times not logical. STATISTICS. Just managed to clear Confidence Interval and Poisson Distribution.

Wanted to start on my Fluid Mechanics after i come back to hall from Jurong Point. However, there is an inertia for me to start work *sigh*. Less than 20 days to exams. Still got plenty to do.

Went on surfing and stumbled on a site. A personality test actually. Interesting. I tried and this is what it said about me:
