Just read za's blog abt wat happened during the course of forming the alumni.. Seems like wong and tan has doubted za's leadership ability.. well.. i have just a phrase for them 'POOR JUDGEMENT OF ABILITY'.. well let me tell you guys a little about this lady i was talking abt..she was appointed a leader when my conductor, Mr Anthony Chew, took over as the resident conductor. From then on, she knew she had much to do in order to build our band into a standard that is more presentable. And you guys should know it was not easy you know as Mr Chew was really demanding and wants perfection in all aspects in the band.

She was given tonnes and tonnes of shit to do and therefore we were all pressured by her (honestly, during that time my gang of trio didn't like her though) and of cos Chew. Moreover, she was the one who really made the pple in the band gel like glue man.. though Mr Chew kept complaining about us and scolding and insulting like nobody's business. We still stood together and enjoyed the course of our practices.. hehe and remembered the time we were in Malaysia for performance.. Cheapskate! some people might think as nowadays its at least an Australia for Secondary school band.. But hey it's not a matter of the place.. its the matter of the quality of the trip.. we learnt a lot from the trip and more importantly we learnt from one another and had fun. And well za was there also to help us out when things get a bit out of hand.. lol.. in a nutshell, she was one of the pple who gave us teamwork, fighting spirit that people could only see and admire..(well that wong even wished that 98/99 batch was under him. DREAM ON my friend. This could only be in you wishlist and it could never happen).

She really has virtues to be a leader - Determination, Dedication, Sincerity.

Her work is really appreciated by many in the band esp me and my batch of guys..

Za hang in there man We'll be back in the alumni band ASAP and after we have settled our stuff but you really do have to pardon us due to our external commitments when we go back.. As for the junior Alumnis, got to give support to the alumni band and train yourselves to let the duo of wong and tan eat their words.

As for me, hehe gotta drink kopi with the principal and Charlie Tan as soon as i can already.

Hmm.. anyway, i've been looking for one thing in the band.. There's so many encouragement posters like success, music and all those crap... BUT WHERE THE HELL IS TEAMWORK!!!
it reads Teamwork - There is no I in TEAM..
well guess the pple now really neglected the word and din know its an essence to all success.. hai real sad...

Really Feel lucky that i am in the 98 batch when everybody's passion run real wild..

 

hmm as expected... we will be out of the tanglin alumni... on friday we were officially chased out by wong la... well not much to say abt that guy or the incident.. just surprised that i was so calm and was smiling all the way even to him lol when other juniors was like damn pissed... welcome thank you guys for making us feel so welcomed when we were back in tanglin. especially trb section pple. they really make me feel that i was part of their family hehe... 

well now we know what to do.. for me i will try to make my way back to the alumni :) really nv had the feeling elsewhere cos during my years as a main band, i have forged a strong relationship the band and nobody is going to chase me out without a very good reason.. will try to make my way back and help za build up the band (that's where the satisfaction comes lol)..

Met up with Ms Chee( my year's teacher in charge).. well she's in good shape actually and is now teaching at NIE humanities department...(teaching teachers to be heheh)... hah felt so close talking to her even after so long..

then she was there she was the one that allowed us to learn and do not intervene on how we run our band.. she said she can let us run the band without worries haha..  i think it is from there we learn the things and able to grow into wat we are now.. come to think of it we also gave her a lot of trb hehe... but well she is still respected by pple from my batch and even melvyn..

well had a good luff yesterday and anyway with that calvin ard there is nv a quiet moment.. haha he always the joker in band la..  hehe..

Just came back from my finale ex last thursday. It was supposed to be the biggest exercise the SAF has to offer and according to my previous PS, we should be all shagged out after the 4 days of outfield. However, it was a bit tiring due to the long waiting hours ( as usual the HQ screwed it up again and then the 3rd div pple) and with the help of rain and lightning, even longer waiting hours.. In the end we we in our vehicles most of the time and were sleeping. Developed footrot after the 4 days cos have to go into water during construction and had a terrible swell on it.. hai.. and our ex became picnic cos we brought loads of canned food. think gained a few KGs instead of shedding them.. hai.. only thing cannot bathe nia.. hai.. really STinked our bunks when we got back lol..
 
hai.. maybe i too nice le... everytime kena arrowed to help pple clear shit hai.. maybe i also easy going also la.. pple sit there zo bo lan dun wan arrow, arrow me when i was doing my work... simi lan jiao... bo li yew one leh..
 
hmm still got sooo many shit from that ex to clear also hai... at first say do slowly... tmd.. now all have to rush cos that CO wan to inspect the stores... hai.. always got last min instructions.. duh.. still have to send in all the spoilt items for repairs and even worse have to write bloody reports on them... grrrr... bored...
 
Went out with my tanglin juniors on sunday to watch the band fiesta.. lol... had some fun and laughter la haha.. found out that i have a junior same course and school as me haha... so qiao.. lol... and there is this person hmm.. (to protect teh innoncent i shall not name who.. lol) really very energetic xia.. haha.. buay tahan.. joker xia.. lol.. aiya its good to have this type of person ard also.. haha reminds me of myself when i was in sec 4 haha.. always going ard disturbing pple and making pple luff and look irritated lol... esp when there is this James Wong in the band, really need such pple to keep the band going man..
 
hmm this friday going have a band pract.. sort of looking forward to it la.. and somemore pushed away my camp stuff for it.. nb it better be good... hopefully no more of James Wong nonsense xia... really getting on my nerves..

hmm... tml is the finale exercise liao yeah!! but not really looking forward to it cos quite a number of pple not going hai.. so xian... but well all the best Alpha...

hmm Now i am at SOCE Nee Soon Camp.. Guess who i saw just now? heh..
saw ming jun he is having his reservice and he is joining me for ex mousedeer next week from monday till friday.. hehe...

After a series of unhappy events in the past weeks, yesterday was abit better to start the week. We had a commanders' dinner at seoul garden in takashimaya.. thanks to the organiser, JJ.

Even though the dinner was at seoul garden (its end of the months see? so cannot possibility go anywhere better cos of some tight budget of the guys), had loads of fun though. talking joking and suaning each other..and wats more my PC just promoted to captain rank so he kena tok until cui cui.. hehe.. well at least he is not very giam person as he just asked me to organise another outing and he is willing to pay if the cost is not too expensive.

the organiser (JJ) did some self entertainment at our table.. lol tellin some very very lame jokes to make us luff..(occasionally must have some lame ones to keep the mood lighted up lol). a real clown indeed..

The week had been rather bad... was appointed DS on thursday and was tasked to do saikang... and my guys' morale are very low and the other platoon is like playing soccer.. then why the fuck left my platoon working and the CQ also demanded my men to help them do the bed frame saying its CSM order and bear that in mind THE OTHER PLATOON IS PLAYING SOCCER while i sweeping the road... initially i din noe anything abt the other guys playing soccer.. so had a little conflict between the guys which.. and i was like sandwiched between my men and my superior... well i also wan my men to enjoy and play soccer.. moreover, the last thing i would wan is my fellow colleagues turning their back on me and add on to the fucking pressure.. hai.. in the end decided to put my head on the gullotine and let my guys play soccer as well... really cannot tahan..

Friday was the day i have been looking forward to this day for months.. and i specially made some time for this day - tanglin's first alumni practice..well wasted 17 bucks of cab fare from seletar camp to tanglin sec only to be treated like trash.. really feel like being spat on the face when you offered an helping hand

to think its the place i adored most and had been working my pants off with my batch of pals just to build this band.. and when i got back initially, i really feel very different.. like i have been re-energised and woken from a sleep of few years.. i was talkin and joking like i nv was.. haha felt really comfortable with the folks back there..

hai can anybody of you guys out there imagine a person who is like 30 years old and been though army whose thoughts can be so shallow... and we were treated like convicts man.. the bloody teacher in charge (well to protect the innoncent i shall not name the person) immediately say that he dun like the people he nv meet before (at this point it sets me wondering how many friends he has lol).. then he was like 'we must greet him' attitude machiam we are like school kids.. well if he needs control over us and i understand that he has responsibility to ensure the safety of the band props and the kids.. but doing it this way?? hahaha i can say i dun take this kind of shit loh and same goes the 98 batch.. i dun tolerate it.. when he started to brag about the achievements which according to him is solely the his and ms tan's credit.. i really wanted to luff out and from here, it shows that he is shallow haha... its really amusing..

upon hearing that we have 4 players coming back are from 98 batch, i think his balls shrink xia hhaah, told him our batch very united one.. haha and tegan together before lol.. he was like thinking he should take our batch... haha really wanted to say balls to him xia... but well have to gif face to za also and tat zhang was like holding me and mel back...

observed quite a lot of things when i was back there.. hmm the leaders they choose are very quiet ones if not for one of the juniors (more outspoken one) said that the SL was the quieter one.. i wouldn't have known hah... to think 98 99 00 batch trb section leaders so fuckin noisy and she so quiet a bit buay gum also lol... hai.. pity the kids to have so limited 'space' to learn and broaden horizon and grow lol..

despite the treatment from the TICs i decided to show them wat their band lacks - frenship, fun, team spirit.. hehe going to recruit mei de in liao haha... but have to wait for her tho.. i've always had this attitude.. when pple say that i cannot make it.. i will wan to prove otherwise with my determination hahaha... well as i always like to say 'some pple are wise, some are unwise, i am otherwise' lol... let's show them some passion.. with pride we lead... hahaha

thanks and sorry za.. and thanks AKF for supporting and helping me out.. if they really want us out.. hehe they are in the lost even though they keep insisting that we need them more.. think they need us more.. they need out exp and professionalism for sly's and yx's case lol... well we are just different from their students see?? haha...
