woohoo, i am back from the trip for about 3 days. Overall its a enjoyable trip.

My cousins over in australia took turns to bring david, daniel and i out for meals and most of the time they paid for it and my aunt did a lot of ferrying throughout the week to show us her daily routine, the markets she visits for cheap groceries and life in the suburbs - things we dun see when we go on tours. The only problem we have? HEhe is that when my cousin is about to take me out, the compulsory question they'll ask is 'where do you want to go?'. We don't even have the slightest idea where do people on tour to perth go. Eventually we came out with an impromptu where they drive and see where we would like to stop.


My uncle loves to drink, on friday, my cousins asked their friends to gather at their house for a teppanyaki session. After the meal, they started drinking like they are having water parade in the army - non stop. I was dragged in for the drink while daniel and david escaped. Arrghh.. Wat Brothers. duh.. but don't blame them because they are quite shy by nature.


The highlight of the trip came on sunday when we were to go for abalone fishing. It was a fun experience with some amount of danger in it though. The water is freezing in perth and the coral reeves where the abalone are stuck on are sharp so we have to wear footwear to fish. And poor Daniel lost his Beetle Bug slippers while trying to get himself a number of abalone. To make things worse he is a 'diver' in SAF context (non-swimmer).


Now that i am in Singapore, my aunt followed us back for a holiday (her holiday was kind of last minute actually. Almost as last minute as OC called me before my trip). while she is here she got me a new mobile phone and that makes my jaw drop to the floor. A fucking 6260. I was like huh?! and i am very happy with my 6100 at the moment, so i decided to let my mum use the phone to the time being. Anyway the phone is rather big for me, so big that i can slap people with it haha. Therefore, its suitable for my mum as she can stuff it inside her handbag when she goes shopping and she can go haolian to her rich friends haha.

Went back to camp today and did some catch up with some of my men back there. Heard many stories on what had happened in there since i left the place. What shocked me was one of the guys whom i respected was sent to DB due to some silly mistake he made. sigh.. and today his mum called the company to see if she can talk to her son. Quite sad though because our camp is not DB and she arrived outside my camp, wanting to see her son to check what is wrong but failed.

Apparently, the relationship btw Specs and Men are getting worse due to wat they claimed was backstabbing of the specs. Its rather bad now because there will be a lot of problem if the men fail to coorperate. I will be going back again next week to pack my stuff and do the necessary paperwork for ORD. Hopefully can see more of the guys then.

Finally, i am in perth. Yesterday, i nearly had to cancel my flight to perh because at 1900 my ops spec called to say that nobody is allowed to go overseas this week because it is recall manning week(CO's order). *Fucked Up*. Of all time called at 1900 Hrs and my flight is 0850 the next morning. Therefore, in the midst of anger i called my superior, the person who signed my leave form. GRRR. he told me to cancel the flight which is impossible by looking at the time. And before i signed my leave form to go overseas, the information passed down to me was 'if we want to go overseas during this week, make sure we really go'. And what my superior told me yesterday was totally inconsistent. He told me that 'we know that during recall manning week, nobody is to go overseas'. WHAT THE FUCK?? i demanded a total payback for my friends and i for the tickets because the amount involved is really too big and somemore we are jus earning a meagre $659 and the tick cost more than that.. So eventually after my dad talked to my OC about this, he let me off but what i heard is that my CO will give me something (punishment) and will have lotsa explanation to do. REally spoils the mood for the trip.

ya now that i am in perth now, i will try my best to enjoy this trip. the weather here is fantastic, cooling but at night i really chilling. In fact, i am shivering a little as i type this entry. My cousins over here are great invite me over to their bar for drinks with their friends and have a good chat. One thing about them is that they really are good drinkers, keep asking to have glasses after glasses of wine and i feel aabit tipsy now. Oh yes, there are three dogs over here really cute. 2 siberian huskey and one looks like a bear. the 2 huskey are really friendly. haha and heavy haha. Okay that's it for now. will update more another day now i think i gotta retire.
