It's a VERY LONG time since I last blogged. So long that my friends keep complaining that my blog is getting a lot of cob webs growing. *Sigh* bo time la lol.. ah well.. that's just an excuse anyway. Everytime I come to this page, I'd be staring at the blank space thinking of what to write. In the end just decided to close the window and go back to sleep :>

Let's see where did I stop in my last post hehe.. Too damn long nv blog le, don't even know where to start.
Hmm.. I have stopped working at CS harbourfront about a month ago (initially was planning to leave earlier. Thinking that i'll be slacking at home doing nothing and counting the no. of pimples growing on my face each day, I decided to extend my stay until the Orientation Camp starts).
For the past 6-7 months, got to know some really nice pple and more importantly, learn some new things about retail line just in case I may go into that field see? (by the looks of it now i think i probably will la)

As a prelude to my NTU life, I joined a couple of camps - UOC organised by the Student Union and Madagascar by the Hall.
UOC was fun. Although the programmes were not as good as some other camps NTU had offered, the friendship between group members is really rock solid. The guys I know during this camp are really on the ball (partly is due to Alex - one of the members, and the GLs and seniors.) We really enjoyed one another's company during the camp and everything we do is not about winning is about having fun and 'for friendship' as what they put it. The best OG we won is just an Icing on the cake.
The Amazing Race we had was a pure classic. We pratically ran from point to point and we wasted no time in clearing our stations. E.g. At the prata shop oppo beauty world (Al Amin), we just used our hands to pick up the pratas and started eating like barbarians when the food came. The other groups were like using their utensils and cutleries to carefully slice their food into pieces and munch them. Think credit goes to the ladies la haha.. They don't even bother about their image lol.. and still behave like us - a bunch of post army guys LOL...
That amazing race was part of our Finale. We went off the last grp but in the end, calculating the time we needed to finish everything, we were the second group hehe.. Not bad for pple who just slept like 4 hrs per night throughout the week.
There was one thing called the SP night (secret partner) where as explained, we will have a partner not known to us but will be revealled on the night itself. Before this night, we get to have a 1/2 chatting session with our SP BLINDFOLDED.
Then came this evening when we have to go pick up our SP, have a good dinner outside and eventually meet up with the rest at a club called CoCo Latte (it's a very lousy club so don't even bother to ask me where it is located). Before the guys can get to know who their SP were and go out and the meal, they have to go into one of the TV lounge at one of the halls where every seniors and their SP were seated. Basically, these guys will have to be Sabohed by the seniors until they are satisfied then the guy is allowed to go.
For my part, about the same as the rest i was told to sing and do what they ask me to do. The lucky thing for me is that i don't have to strip like some of my friends. When these situations arise thing pride don't have much of a value can throw it down the drain i suppose. But hell, I didn't know i was so good at sweet talking and be so creative lol.. The seniors posted me a task got me - use 5 words from title of a song to sweet talk. shit that was one of the toughest anybody got lo.. the rest was like folding hearts and sing some simple songs. However, with the help of my senior, i managed to create a song for the 'audience'. Damn paiseh when i sang it can? haha.. Well the rest of the seniors eventually let me off with my SP. Coincidentally, my SP was supposed to be in my group on the very first day of my camp but she got transferred out cos there are grps with very few pple. And I am one of the few who is still in contact with my SP the rest is like don't care about what their SP's doing lol..
Basically, that's union camp hehe..
The hall camp was a bit of a disaster (at least to me), its a totally different thing apart from playing the same things all over again. I don't know but i didn't really enjoyed much maybe it's because of the union camp ba. but their beach games are solid.

Now that the enjoyments are over, school has started for almost 3 weeks now. For those who had been chatting with me and talking to me, they know how much i have been looking forward to school. But now, sigh I am really stressed out now. It's a totally different ball game now. When I look to my left and right, everybody's been mugging like a nerd. *sigh* and the lecturers are going like express train. Well, that's uni life. Ok think that's about all. Hehe enjoy reading this entry and I hope I will have the initiative to update more on my uni life. Ciao
