Why am I so busy this sem? Sigh... Stressed!

What am I busy with? Sigh... Lost!

I am sleepy now... Yawns.. need to perservere. got 2 assignments to clear...

Need to motivate myself... How? Arrghh!!

Trying to have fun doing my FYP also... But the fluorometer also bully me by refusing to calibrate properly and dying on me sigh...

ArRGHH!! I hate this type 'don't know what's next feeling'

Woch #7.2

I just came back from Chingay 2007. It was fun. Joel and I became the busiest among the volunteers as we kept walking up and down to take pictures and look for the little cute girl we saw on friday haha (she was in a bad mood on friday and when we wanted to take her pic she simply turned away).

The post parade party was fun. Managed to mingle with the performers and take pictures with them. The korean band girls are sooo cute haha.. And their performance... Can sweep you off your feet man.. Very disciplined.

After the parade, Desiree and I decided to go to JE and catch a cab back home. I dont know why I was in a very chatty mood just now and started talking nonsense with the uncle. I was seldom this creative in speech and I dont know why i just keep talking and started to say that uncle might be sending 2 future leaders back home and so he is contributing to the society... hahahah.. (even desiree wanted to puke out just now lol)

That aside, the uncle really brought out some things that are really interesting to take note of - one must not be afraid to fail. and we must have a vision of what we are doing hah.. then he started telling me that his vision is to be a taxi driver and there he is - a taxi driver.. ahahha Interesting uncle hahah.. Had an interesting talk with this uncle here haha..

Ok I know it's week 5 of the academic semester but.. nvm.

The above clip was an excerpt from a documentary/movie An Inconvenient Truth. It's cute cartoon illustrating a surfacing problem that everybody has been neglecting - Global Warming. Got hooked to this show after my air pollution lecturer showed some part of it to us. Al Gore presented it really well in this show. However, it can be boring to those who are totally not interested in the environment and science.

Hmm This is some random pic I found. Hehe Taken during the army days. Well Xiong but somehow it's quite meaningful to me and to a certain extend fun la. Made some interesting friends along the way.

Most memorable moment was while rafting, the rain clouds practically 'chase' us and we could see one side of the reservoir was raining while the other is not lol.

Just had a presentation this morning, it went well except that Cai Jie(one of my groupmates) overshot his timing and I ended up having only 3 mins to present my part. Anyway we were doing something on Cheng Ho and Vasco da Gama - some see navigation pple. Hmm quite interesting topic to present for an engineer though. I am slowly overcoming one of my greatest fear of all time - presentation.

This afternoon Cai Jie also broke a news that there is a chance that I would be going over to dubai for 3 months this May to work under Sembcorp. Hmm wonder what are the chances of going there like. Arr there is no concrete plan. Have to further enquire about the placement there. And it would be a nice experience to go there to work.
