As the saying goes, 'Good things come in pairs', that does not apply to bad/unfortunate things - They come in 3s. I am anticipating the 4th to be here soon.

I seriously think I need a short break. Some overseas trip might be good.

Been busy like a mad dog these few days. Running here and there, getting my experiment setup, calling people to give their professional advice on the equipment, indenting this, indenting that, buying this buying that. The whole week was total hell. Go lab in the morning ends leave at 8pm and sometimes late at night.

Headaches will occasionally occur. Sigh... Maybe I should relax more.. Slow down my pace.

Just went for Play! A Video Game Symphony. hmm.. It wasn't a bad concert and the arrangements are good. But the orchestra seems ordinary.. Didn't deliver much and without the WOW factor there. Maybe I have expected too much from the orchestra after watching the American ones in Youtube.com. Spent quite an amount on the CD and the programme of the concert. Sigh.. Didn't have as much fun as I have expected.

Hehe This baby is so cute right? hahaha.. She's my friend's niece.. lol her name is Stacia Aka Wen Wen.. hahaha haiyo.... haha she has the smile that can steal the hearts of millions lol... I am a self confessed fan of hers hahaha...

Ok I think I am crazy already wahahha! Sooo Cute!!!!

YEa!! My daddy's been discharged from hospital on tuesday but he still has to stay at home to rest and not run around. And my mum has a special set of diet for him hehehe..

my project's been busy as ever, staying till late at night to finish up with the experiments. However, sometimes i deserve it la because of my stupid hands which accidentally hit the laser and the whole experiment has to be run from the beginning.. sigh..

Now that we have finished one of the parameters of the experiment, we have decided to modify some of the experiment setup so as to make the experiment results nicer. It's still in the brainstorming phase. I.E. we are still thinking of ideas to curb with some of the problems we have encountered during the experiment and trying to eliminate those human errors that we made. Hmm.. Tough one. Spent the whole afternoon consulting technicians and people who will helping us make the necessary amendments to the existing equipment.

It's going to be tough.. but I believe it will be a fruitful one.. If I didn't get an A for this project, at least I have learnt some valuable lessons by doing the project AND.. How is it like to be PhD student. One word: TOUGH!!

I guess there is this question running through many graduating students now about their future. Should they specialise in certain field of their course? Hmm.. I have been thinking about that too.. I am interested in doing water quality or water treatment. but something tells me that I should do something else.. hmm.. Maybe i just want an overview of everything and learn by reading up and on the job. hmm.. If i really do specialise i think i can only do very limited things.. But let's go with the flow ba. Most prb, if i really starting a company i think an overview of things will be good. Think my first 5 yrs after grad would be checking out which field is hot and i am interested in. Studying and working is 2 different things..
